rear parking sensors

Postby silky1525 » Sun Jun 26, 2011 11:27 pm

im thinking of fitting rear parking sensors to my cc ,if i fit them to the bumper should be no problems with wiring but have seen some that fit around the number plate but unsure how the wiring will be run in because of the boot opening both ways so cant run the normal routes , thanks for your advice .

Fitted mine to bumper, pulled off caps drilled, used the gromet that is already there on the passenger rear side to enter car, job done in 1.5 hrs, I am sure there is a guide on here some where. number plate ones may be more difficult due to the wiring issue. :D

there is a professional parking sensor kit which i bought from costco which includes 4 sensors, all wires etc and a digital screen that gets mounted on dash wherever and free professional fitting at your house or wherever you want for £70ish
