MPG to l/100km display

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum so bear with me.

I bought a 2008 megane II 1.5 dci. It showed l per 100 km at first, until a did e reset for the consumption and distance. The it changed to MPG. Is there any other way, apart from plugging to OBD, to change back to l/100km. Now, i did search this forum, and found out one member proposed to change from mpg and back by pressing button 3 or 4 on the end of the wiper stalk and start button for about 10 seconds. But it didn't work. So maybe any over suggestion how to change it?
