steering clicking

hi all
ive got a horrible clicking noise when turning steering wheel left and right.
Any ideas

Hi Pete, Iv had my Megane 6 months and i've always had the same noise, not sure how bad yours is but mine is obvious when standing still and no radio on. iv had a mechanic check it out, they can see nothing obvious and told me not to worry about it.

Not very helpful I know, but its the best I've got

the click is on the steering wheel it self or it cames from some other place?

its under the foot well somewhere and not intefering with any electrics
