alternator changing 1.6 dynamique

i have been meaning to change the alternator on the megane as it decided to size and snap the belt.

But now i have a major problem i have a broken leg and a massive cast on it.

I am thinking of getting a friend to change it but they arent that mechanically minded.
So am woundering is it really that hard? Doesnt look to bad. As easy access. Just not to sure on how to tension it back up? Any help would be greatly appreciated cheers

I'd forget it if your friend isn't mechanically minded. Haynes recommend removing the radiator to unbolt it, so many parts will have to come off... Might be easier than that though.
