2005 Megane II Heating Fan Intermittent / Inoperative.
Symptoms -
Very poor / weak flow on the heating system even when set to 4. Well maybe its weak as i have not drove the car since Jan and maybe expect better things.
The heater sounded like it was struggling, when set to 4, like it was varying in speed. I stopped in the garage to refuel, and it would not run afterwards. I set off home, and went over a few speed bumps and it came back to life.
2hr later i started the car, and went to collect family from the airport, and the fan was not working. 20 mins later it came back to life, but went off & on.
This morning its not working, thinking heating resistor pack or related faults as i had something similar on my 2004 Clio 182.

Re: Megane II - Heating Fan Inoperative / Intermittent
Ive been out again, started the car & still no operation.
I removed the LH side panel in the LH Floorwell, and had a peek. I cant see any rubbing of wires, and the loom looks to be routed correctly.
I removed the Heating Resistor Unit connector, as pictured in MR364MEGANE6.pdf technical instruction from the Links section of the forum.
The connector is a dummy connector, and serves no purpose. Its just a blank plastic connector on the heating unit, though its wired incase one should be there.
We still have no fan operation, & winter is coming soon.
