Ghosted rear badge

Finally decided to debadge the rear of the megane and this is what I ended up with. Just goes to show how the paint has faded. It's been cleaned and t-cut, doesn't really show up too well here as is taken on phone. It's a ghosted image underneath the laquer so have to leave it as is or re-badge it. Didn't realise how bad the red has faded

Useful reference to the original colour. I bet if you did T-Cut the whole boot lid then polished and waxed the panel it would disappear. Not necessarily for good though.

only prob is if I do the boot lid the whole car will need doing and I am way too lazy to do it all

Think I will leave it, starting to grow on me and the missus hates it
