No Digital Display

Hi all,

I went to start the car today and I have nothing on my display, it is just black. Do you think this is a totally knackered display or just a loose cable maybe, any ideas on cost of getting it fixed? Also is this a fairly common problem?

On a slightly different topic as well does anyone know how long the warranty is for stuff like this, I wouldnt expect this to happen on a 4 year old car?

standard waranty is 3 years or 60,000 miles whichever comes first, and assumes full service history (all service stamps present in the book)

this happend to ours not so long back, gave it a swift hard flick
