Standard megane radio - Not working in cold conditions

Hi all

At start of the year when temp dropped really low my radio would not work. I have read a few posts saying to disconnect it which I did, an came back on eventually, but I wondered if anyone had managed to solve this problem at all? and how?

It is unsolvable as far as I know. But go to Renault and tell them about your problem, they should be more than happy to give you a unit without 'freezing' problems.
