Yes I've seen I've got a light actually in the door under the pocket. I'd assumes the light was in the actual kickwell near the pedals. My mistake. Sounds a lot easier to do now!
Another side question which should be in another thread! I have a Megane II Phase 1. I can't use HID bulbs in my headlights can I without failing MOT? Is my only way around this to change the whole headlight for Xenon type ones as with the Phase 2?

Yea it wont pass mot with out a refractor lens.
If you change to the phase 2 head lights you will also have to change the bumper.
