I've managed to find genuine cruise control buttons and airbag,
So I'm selling the makeshift buttons including all the resistors and wire, this means only the 2 wires have to be linked up and the other switch fitted as normal, I will also include the surround that's been cut so you don't have to cut yours...
See pics below,

Offers please, needs to go as I want the money to pay for the airbag I got.
Thanks Joe

Change tha makeshift control over to the genuine Renault ones, And changed the airbag.. Used the ribbon wire that's already there, it's 7 core so 2 were unused, fairly easy job, just some tricky soldering with the ribbon wire being so small....
Any interest in the control I used previously as it's no longer needed??
Cheers, Joe

They start at £120ish for a Chinese one off the Internet else you can get Renault or other auto electrician to sort it, would take them 10 min

Re: How to retrofit cruise control, step by step..
i have been reading the whole of this topic and the other ones on other forums.
i am looking to do this mod asap and feel confident i can do it
wanting to do it as simply as possible and on a german site there is the guide where you use the existing radio controls, so no need to buy another and fit on the other side of the steering wheel.
i am confused though by a couple of things.
on the german guide, he has made a little connector block with new wires and resistors coming out of it (what is this called?!) and how do i make the wires stay in this connector - so i understand that bit and you end up with 2 wires, a blue one and the combination of the resitors as the other.
he simply swaps out the connector block thats already there for the radio for his new one - so i get this too
but then, when connecting the cables under the steering wheel, he uses snap on connectors (brilliant! no soldering) but i cant work out which cable is connected where!
there is the new cabling which has a blue cable and the trio cable, but i cant gather from the pics which is which
link is here - post https://meganeboard.de/viewtopic.php?p=167127#p167127
can anyone help?
would be greatly appreciated, i have followed the guide here but think the german one is a little tider
regards
Sean
