Cleaning marks of seats? HELP

Postby dinkdink » Mon Jan 03, 2011 12:23 pm

Hi

I have tried to clean the seats in my car, and they are twice as worse as before. For some reasons its left all water marks behind and I am not sure how to remove them?

I have the 1.6 priv, half leathers, so seats are light fabric?

Had it valeted, and they've made it worse and the car looks like a drink has been spilt on each and every seat?

thanks

Rent a 'rug doctor' from B+Q.

I did my whole interior with one and it was like brand new.

The quailty of the finish far exceeds the rental cost.

Sounds like the moisture is pooling after cleaning, the trick is drying it out properly.

1. Get your money back from whoever valeted it as they haven't done the job properly or get some of the moeny back if they've done other work which is ok.
2. Spend the money you've got back on your electric bill when you leave a fan heater, or better still a dehumidifier, in the car over the weekend once you've cleaned the seats again.
