ok, i need to make an rca output for my amps
ive got a few options i have seen on ebay
here is option 1

Get hold of a dual gang potentiometer of around 10 - 50k Ohm (log) - expect to pay no more than 30p for it (a simple carbon track will do). Wire terminal 3 (as you look at it) to the speaker output, terminal 2 to your RCA socket, and terminal 1 to earth (or the other speaker terminal). The other 'half' of the pot is for the other channel. Adjust the level to suit - ie where you don't have any distortion in the new amp. Even if you wire it backwards swapping 3 and 1, you will just have a volume control that goes 'the wrong way' and in any case, you are only going to use it for calibration - after that leave it alone (hide it somewhere).

Fairly sure that's all that there is in these magic boxes.
