Hi all, i changed my head light bulbs today on my estate as i found them quite poor (compared to our other cars xenon's). I bought some so called up rated bulbs and fitted them which was a bit of a pain. Now the lights are soooo bad its un true, i have used the manual adjuster but that doesnt seem to do much, there is a dead spot in front of the car. I have a phase two and have just pushed the bulbs in, i guess they could be in wrong but they are firm into the cluster.
Any advice, or are they just pap head lights?
Full beam is great, but i cant drive round like that all the time lol
any help would be great,
Rob

its a phase II megane DCI 130 estate. Has the projector type head light. I changed the standard bulbs (H7) for some Ring ultra xenon H7's.

They're in wrong. It's quite a pain to seat them correctly - it took me a few hours of attempts before they finally clicked in correctly - and since I couldn't see what I actually did it's impossible to describe an easy way... If the wheel arch access is uncomfortable then it's probably best to remove the headlight units.

Don't forget to check the voltage on the bulb. 12V is what you need. A friend of mine bought 24V bulbs (for lorries) and complained about not seeing a thing.

As above there are more than likely no seated correctly.
Your best bet is to thkethe front bumper off which take 5 mins. 3 bolts underneath, 4 screews arches, 6 plastic retainers under bonnet.
You then have plenty of room to play with.
