I intend to. Don't want to end up as another statistic!

Hopefully picking it up next Saturday, so will take it for a gentle run and get used to it. :D

From experience I must tell you that when you change a tyre, especially the front one, make sure that you scrub it in well. Also, go for a softer compound; sod the expense the better it grips the more it's worth.

Thanks for the advice, used to scrubbing in tyres on a bike, just not one this big! :D

It's got Bridgestones on it that are practically brand new, they have only done 600 miles :grin I have checked out the Triumph owners club forum and they have a list of recommended tyres so will follow that.

I thought car tyres were expensive but chuff me bike ones are even more! :eek

Can't wait to get it though, it's immaculate, V Reg, Jet Black, 27k from new, 2 owners, full service history and a list of receipts to go with that, a Meta alarm/immobiliser and Givi panniers and top box, I paid £2400 for it with 4 months warranty, full service, 12 months MOT, 6 months tax and a pair of engine crash stops thrown in as well from Fastline in Preston. :grin

It was one of those moments when you see something and go OMG! i've got to have that!

That looks like a good deal, I think it was Fastline that a mate of mine, who lives in Bamber Bridge, had his Harley up for sale with a while back.

As I remember and this is going back 19 or 20 years the last Metzeler front I bought for my GSX-R was nigh on £100 :eek

Well finally got round to adding a few pics of my new ride. Trouble is I have been diagnosed with Glandular Fever and feel like a bag of boiled S**te, so it's sitting in the garage at the moment :(
