Megane Sport Hub and Suspension

Postby K3NNY » Wed Mar 31, 2010 5:39 pm

I have just bought some 18 inch anthracite megane alloys and as we all know they are 5 stud comapared to the standard 4 stud crappy megane alloys. i was wondering could i fit the megane sport hub and suspension unit to my dynamique so i can fit these alloys ?
if so could i buy the thing whole or would i have to buy all the parts indivually ?
below is a picture i found for the megane sport hub and suspension

The only way is breaking 225. if the fella has any idea what he is selling it wont be cheap.

The thought of asking a Renault dearler for those parts... gees you could probably buy a 225.

It would be a lot cheaper to buy/get a hub converter made. To convert your hub from 4 - 5 stud. There would be a touch of off set so could look mean.

These are the only people in the world that make 4x100 to 5x108....very very very rare fitting and specialist bolts.

i think ive seen them hub adapters before on another forum, i showed the man these adapters and he said he would not be happy to make me them as he felt they are not very safe. And thanks for the ebay links shame theres no pictures on them tho ha . ill have to decide whether to gamble on hub adapters or shell out on 225 parts. if i get the 225 hubs will i need to get suspension aswell ?

MeganeSport 230 Multispoke rims are 60.1 bore and 42 ET so on a standard Megane 20mm Spacers will pull them out very nicely and flush!

Can someone throw me the Ebay links? want these ASAP

hi, i have an 07 megane dynamique as well, which has the 4 stud fitting. i also want to get either the anthracite multispoke wheels or tthe 18" original sport wheels shown in the ebay link below: (i'll try and find a picture, btw how do you add a picture to a forum post?)

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

the only thing is i don't know any of the measurments and offsets. can you advise me on what the measurements are to get some hub adapters made.

cheers,

Standard Megane 4 Stud is 4x100 with 60.1 centre bore

Megane Sport 225/230 is 5x108 with 60.1 centre bore.

hi thanks,

i had a look at the https://www.concept-wheels.be website; just a few questions

would i put the value 60.1 for the centerhole wheel and centerhole car

the final thing is, what does it mean by "wideness each side" ?? and what value would i need for it?

do you know if these adapter are safe to use? i really want the sport alloys
