Interior = 501
Num Pl = Festoon 36mm (although I believe 38mm will fit also)

He’s correct, although the 501 are more commonly known as W5W.
As for the Festoon I would recommend this type, rather than multi regular LEDs. These are more durable and brighter.

No no no the festoon bulbs pictured above are for the number plates, 2 required.
The W5W / 501 are for the interior of which you will need 6 if just doing roof lighting or 8/10 if you are doing the foot weld lighting on the doors. For the W5W i got the white 9 LEDs per on bulb. Light up the car nicely. Please see photos on page 1 of this thread. Thats my black meggy.
These are the bulbs i used for the interior...

Best place... ebay.. i bought mine from a fella in china. He was top notch.... One was faulty when i got it and he had a new one out to me before i had a chance to return it.

As requested... these are the links to the sellers i used. I must say the results are well worth a few quid spent.
Festoon.. (Number Plate bulbs)
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2x-39mm-239-C5W-2 ... m153.l1262
W5W.. (Interior LED)
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2X-9-LED-Xenon-wh ... m153.l1262
Both of the above are for 2 bulbs.. so for the interior you will need to order more.
Hope this is of help.

However, for the door bottom lights I'd recommend this type of bulb:

(Not the one in the middle, that's a regular W5W incandescent bulb, but the two at its sides.)
You'll understand why when you take out the door lamp and look at its construction: the 5W5 bulb sits parallel, not perpendicularly, to the lense. Therefore a normal led bulb ulrich100 showed emits its light mostly inside the door toward the front of the car, whereas the "flank" type above shines all its light directly on the lense. With a regular incandescent bulb there's no problem since it emits light homogenously in all directions, but with leds emitting light in only one direction the choice gets trickier....
