I find putting on the air-con on full blast at the screen works quite well. Yes it cold but it works.

You have got the dial to get air from outside and not just to recirculate the air inside the car?
You may find this will cure your problem as mine used to get misted up all the time

You may have a water leak somewhere inside the cabin, check all the common areas which leak in the Megane!

As mentioned, stick the recirculation knob to the 12 o clock position has picture of carwith arrow going into drag air in from the outside, the 6 o clock position has the car with the arrow inside which is great if there is a nasty smell outside coming in.
But for normal driving leave in the 12 position otherwise you are sat in stale air which will go moist from you breathing or if you get in damp from rain etc , it does make quite difference, and if really having problems stick the air con on leaving the heat setting on high, other then that check for water leaks.

The air-con can be used at any temperature you like :-)

It is very effective at de-misting and it is the norm rather than a last resort to use it to clear the windows - cars with climate control will automatically switch it on whenever they are set to clears screens :-)

Check the pollen filter. might need changing and could be stopping clean air getting to the fans.

I have found that actually the opposite works well, i put it on recirculate with aircon on as this warms up faster whilst extracting the moisture it also seems to blow harder on recirculate. This used to work well in my clio as well.
