think that'll be first on the todo list!! anyone had remap done on these models?? if so is it any good?? and would a dump valve aid the turbo in anyway?? just a thought as its meant to prolong turbo life on petrol models??

I dont think dump valve would do anything for the diesel turbo.
Early 1.9Dci's did have turbo failure, sure there was a recal on them though.
Remap's are excellent on the 1.5's and 1.9's.
Paul at RSTuning is the man for it, has done loads of maps.

wheres he at?? and how much does it cost roughly?? was going to have my golf done but knackered a engine mount on it and found it wasn't as reliable as theyre meant to be!! also bought it being told it was a 130 NOT 115 :banghead wasn't clued up on them till i owned one it looks nice and all but sick of spending money on it was leaving it standard but in first week it got lowered cuz it was like a ship then had to get wheels as it looked silly lowered on standard 15s!! still i am leaving the exterior of the megane standard hopefully! just want it going better might get some aftermarket wheels yet though!!
