:-( Hi how do you reset emissons light on dash or is it a dealer reset some help would be most welcome thanks ...gav 15dci 2004..

I had a similar fault with a vauxhall Astra and by luck- disconnected the battery for another issue and when I reconnected it, the fault light had extinguished??!!

The light is on for a reason, because it's indicating a fault. You cannot reset it if the fault still exists?

You say in your other post that it came on after filling up with fuel at Tesco's, have you still got the receipt?

no i havent was ok until i fueled up but was diesel any idea,s running just the same,, :-(

:D :D Sorted it was the tesco diesel full of bubbles in the line just pumped it and away it went (light out )lol.. will use shell next time..cheers lads :cool:

Get your fuel filter checked as there have been some issues with air ingress from the fuel filter housing on 1.5dCi's. Unfortunately the inner wheel arch has to come out to do this so it's probably a garage job uless you are feeling brave?

There should not be bubbles in the fuel lines?
