New Headlights...

Postby Say..."Renno" » Thu Dec 13, 2007 6:00 pm

Well my new H/L arrived today ..I got them on ebay france last weekend , i did ask if they were LHD or RHD or both, as i've found out in the past that they're all made in Taiwan , and can be moved to suit either...but they're english was crap and didnt really answer my query..So they're side specific..and "cant " be changed ,if you're a mere mortal that is...not me boyo..no sir eee...so i duly set about taking them apart (within an hour of delivery  ) , firstly heating the glue and taking the lens off ,then the actual projector unit ,take that apart, what you have is a piece of shaped steel plate which you just turn around to get the opposite angle , and stick all back together eeezzzz....

But while i have them apart i'm gonna spray the black insides to match the car colour,so it looks kinda factory... so its off to the factors in the morro for the paint..

I know it would have been easier to get the RHD lights in the first place but, these were much cheaper than ebay uk ones and i would have been doing the mods to them ,so its cool...
