1.9dci 120 tourer, 05 reg, nearly 68k miles. MPG varies depending on type of trips but I zero the computer every fill and my worst tank was 47 and my best tank has been 53mpg on the computer. I sometimes work it out manually - I use litres x 0.22 rather than litres/4.546 to convert to gallons 'cos its easier to do in your head. The manual version is usually 1 to 2 mpg better than the computer.
At the end of the day... ..it gets dark

OK,ME AGAIN !!

Just had the day off to go to eastbourne to see 'the old chap'.

So,kings lynn to eastbourne,170 miles each way & 3.25 hours each way, sticking to the max. speed on all motorways & open dual carriageways, trip reads 57 mpg,+ i know that in real terms my computor reads 3 mpg under, so i've averaged 60 mpg on a 340 mile trip mostly at 70 mph, except thro' tonbridge wells.!

YOUR TURN!! lol.

i have had my car nearly 2 months and in that time i have averaged 44-45 mpg thats with long motorway driving and bombing around town, which i dont think is too bad as my old 306 DTurbo was averaging about 28-30 after a stage 1 tune

1.9 dci, drove from Nottingham to Harrogate (including time getting outside of Nottingham from where I live) and got 63.6 MPG, I couldn't believe it, but I tried VERY hard for that. It was a very boring drive and with climate control off.

I gave my rear brakes a good clean - think they may have been slightly binding - and got 36mpg from a couple of tanks. I have now dropped back down to about 30mpg. I know we are heading into winter and my lights are almost always on etc., but I do very little urban driving - mostly A-roads at speed limit (av speed over a tank 43mph). Surely I should be getting better than this?!

Over the last 1,700 miles, the computer tells me that I'm getting 34mpg at an average speed of 24mph. I have my second annual service coming up in December so hopefully my mpg will be improved. I would hope for a better mpg if my average speed had been over 40mph.

1.6 16v VVT and I get aroung 30mpg urban and about 35mpg on the motorway. It must be said though that I d have a fairly heavy right foot although I'd expected better.

I've just had that godawful camshaft dephaser pulley replaced so I'm hoping for better going forwards.

I can get 50-55mpg out of my 1.9dci 120 but i tend to be watching the computer all the time so i settle for around 45ish on a run 37-40ish short local runs.

That's about what my 2.0dCi Laguna Sport Tourer is doing.

I'm already missing the economy of my old Megane :(
