Changing the steering wheel airbag cover?

Postby renier » Fri Apr 27, 2007 9:13 pm

Hi,

I was just wondering if it would be possible to change the airbag cover from the steering wheel to the new (2006) model? I never really liked the plastic look in the middle of the old model steering wheel....
Is the cover a separate item which can be removed easily and switched or is it the actual airbag itself what I am referring to? :?
In that case it would be very expensive to swap it for the new model

I would say that's the actual airbag you are looking at!!

OK, so changing it would mean having to buy a new airbag! I'll leave it as it is then!
