hi all,
i am new on here and have a little puzzler, when i bought the car the car diagnostic in the message display said, check rear roll bars.
the car went over a rock which put a hole in the sump
, i guess that shock was enough to fire the rear safety roll bars
when i looked i can see they have been deployed, they are about 10 mm above what they shoud be, can they simply be pushed back down or it it more complicated
ive seen on a merc slk, you have to find the trigger mechanism by sliding a piece of metal down the left hand side , i just dont want them to come up further
please help if you have any advice
my rear roll bars have fired and need to be reset, how
