Hello, thanks for letting me join.
I have just had a cam sensor replaced cos the car wouldn't start , all good then the message 'electronic fault' and service light came on the dash but then went off but kept appearing when we started the car . Took it to our garage and there was an intermittent fault showing up, which was the Camshaft Dephaser , had it fitted today , drove off and the same fault came back on the dash .
Any ideas please ?
Thanks
electronic fault code

Re: electronic fault code
Did the garage clear the original fault from the system? If they didn't it will probably continue to show up.
There's a lot of variables, have they; done the job properly, used the correct parts, cleared the fault from the ecu, perhaps the part they've fit is faulty.
You're doing the best thing, which is taking it back to the garage that did the work.
Fingers crossed for you that it gets sorted
