Hi !
I hope to get some help...
I have an "injection problem" with Megane 2 1.5 DCI 105cv, model Estate from 2007.
The garage told me it was the common rail pressure sensor which was faulty. They couldn't buy the sensor, so they told me I could do it and replace it myself. (else they could buy the full common rail and make me pay 600€)
So I went to look for that sensor, and I bought that one which seemed to be appropriate :
https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Renault-Clio-ka ... 4902.l9144
But when I dismantled the car to replace sensor... SURPRISE, not the same sensor !
I ordered a 55PP03-01, and the one instaled was a 55PP02-02
Different shape, different connectic poka yoke.
Well it obviously won't work.
But when I google the 55PP02-02 it is not supposed to be compatible with my car... but with Ford, Peugeot, Citroen and Volvo...

What should I do ? I mean, I can order the 55P02-02 anyway, and I can put it in place. But what if it is not callibrated the same as my current sensor ? Don't I risk dammaging the engine.
Or is there only 1 callibration possible for each sensor?
Thanks for helping !
My car is half dismantled now, and if I can avoid the struggle of putting it back into order and dismantle again in a few days that would be welcome...

Re: Common rail sensor defect and "Non standard"
With more research I found that : http://www.dieselinjectorsuk.co.uk/fuel ... sensors-2/
On mine is written :
55PP02-02
MY B
0406124956
//
5WS40039
//
Bar code (on label on plastic connector) : 110406124956
So I have to find a sensor 55PP02-02 with 0406124956 written on it ?
Do I have to fit ‘like for like’?
Yes you do have to fit ‘like for like’. If the id numbers of a replacement Fuel pressure sensor correspond to the original then it can be used. Bosch numbers are 10 digit starting 0281 002 – – – Siemens also use 10 digit numbers like 9658227880 and id’s like 55PP06-03 These numbers are printed on the sensor or stamped into the plastic

Or the 0406124956 doesn't matter and just "any" 55PP02-02 MY B 5WS40039 sensor will be compatible ?

No one knows ?
