Where the air filter?

Hi guys,

I've recent;y bought a 2002 Megane. I'm not a mechanic, but I think I should be able to change the air filter myself... if I could only find it
Can anyone point it to me in the pic?

I presume this is a MK1 megane..i have never had one of these but in the picture I would say the Air Cleaner has to be either the long black box running along the bulkhead back of engine...or the box running front to back above the gearbox....have a look at the actual air filter and gauge where in these two boxes it would fit....sorry cannot be more helpful

Sorry about the lack of details, I'm new to Renault in general and have no idea about MK1. It's an Expression, or so it writes in its papers
