My Megane CC 1.9dCi 130bhp Privilege Series 2 Phase 1 Red

Hi Guys.

Here's a pic of my new beauty. https://picasaweb.google.com/1119473595 ... 9617496786
Just in the process of retrofitting Cruise control using the proper parts. Been sold a duff squib with broken ribbon so might be buying a new squib to avoid the hassle.

Fitted a brilliant handsfree kit that's fully integrated and offers great Bluetooth music as well. Dead chuffed.

Only 51K miles in mint looks great when clean with the light upholstery. Tempted to buy one of those nice interior cover sets costing about £300. Want to see one first and would want the seats heated first.

Only problem in 3K miles had been occasional soot filter requesting a blast after short journeys. Ave mpg is 45 so will pleased.

Would like to soften out the suspension. It's a bit brutal on rough surfaces.

Keep in touch.

Richard

Update on the indicator / squib assembly. Renault have just asked me for £195 for a new CC specific indicator / squib assembly but I've found a place on the Internet selling the same item new for £160 delivered.

https://www.renault-spares.co.uk/new-ren ... 5732-p.asp

The only difference is that it carries the extra switch for a rear wiper which they assure me well make no difference to how it functions.

The item should arrive next Tuesday and I'll post of it works and makes the cruise control work. Fingers crossed.

Hi guys

Delighted to report that the new squib has resulted in the retrofit cruise control activation working.
