New front end!

Postby craigyt » Mon Oct 07, 2013 8:07 pm

Well after a while of searching i finally got my hands on an F1 front bumper, tried to fit it today only to find out its not that simple as taking one off and fitting another!!

The facelift lights are like rocking horse poop but luckily motorhog had a set for £90 for the pair so snapped them up! Finally got it all fitted complete with cable tie for the bonnet latch!

Dear Bro craigyt,

I'm driving MCC 2008.

Please advices on what are the parts needed to change for the front bumper like you have done?

MODEL TYPE :BM0M& CM0M After 06
NO: 15 , BUMPER FRT R26 & R27
NO: 10 , BUMPER LOWER COVER
NO: 11 , BUMPER SPOILER FRT
NO: 2 , BUMPER GRILLE LOWER
NO: 3 , BUMPER GRILLE UPPER
NO: 4 , BUMPER BRACKET FRT LH
NO: 5 , BUMPER BRACKET FRT RH
NO: 7 , TOW COVER

https://sg.f1939.mail.yahoo.com/ya/downl ... oMailNeoCL

Do we really need part NO: 4 & 5?

Can i used back my BUMPER GRILLE UPPER to cut cost?

Where and how much did you pay for the whole set of F1 bumper?

Please advice...

That's a piece of ART...

I paid 180 for complete front bumper!

and if yours is a 2008 you can use the headlights and upper grilles but wont match the crosshatch pattern on the bottom!

The link you put up doesnt work on my phone but reading between the lines they are the wheel archliner extensions that are needed

Cheers mate, whats next is probably a new bonnet to get rid of the dints in it, and also cruise control and possibly a 6speed box! But other than that just drive it as its supose to be the cheap workhorse!!!

Well, my ride is auto.
I've been thinking of changing the gear knob to a slicker one but just can't find even one that is suitable for it.
Was told that Renault set-up is different from other brands auto ride.
Any recommendation...

Front splitter turned up today, MASSIVE thanks to joeishmather for sorting it for me, much appreciated dude, i owe you!

Not got a full on front pic but this is with the back fully lowered to give me a chance of gettin on my drive, lowering the back lifted the front bumper a bit, now with the splitter on i might have to reverse up the driveway!!
