Quick Question for Megane CC owners
When a door/boot is open does the car diagram on the dash show which door ect is open or does it show all doors are open?
Just wondered as my friend has a Megane Hatchback and it shows which door is open, Where as my Megane CC shows they are all open!
Thanks

It should just show the door that is open

I think it is model dependent some show all, some show which.

Re: Quick Question for Megane CC owners
A 2004 Extreme (being the basic model) would just show either all open or all shut, not specific doors. Dynamique and Privilege trim levels would show specific doors.
I suspect it's not as easy as reprogramming with a Renault Clip diagnostic machine. I imagine the vehicle symbol on the dash is a single light for the whole vehicle image whereas the higher trim levels have separate lights for each door so they can indicate specific ones.
I think it wouldn't be worth the effort or cost. At least having only two doors it's a 50/50 shot which isn't shut properly.

Thanks for that information. I will leave it how it is :-D I would have preferred a higher spec one as my mk1 cabriolet I had for 6 years had leather air con ect.
I got the basic model as it was low millage 40k, full renault service history and bodywork is very good for year. I would have struggled to get another one as good for the money.

Re: Quick Question for Megane CC owners
Also it has 17inch alloys as standard. Would this have been a paid for upgrade from factory?

Re: Quick Question for Megane CC owners
I'd need to see a photo to say if they're either a) aftermarket alloys b) Renault alloys from a different car or c) Renault alloys fitted as a factory option when new.
I don't recall many options being available for the Extreme but upgraded alloys may have been one.
I left Renault 6 years ago and trying to remember individual specs of all the models is getting harder and harder, even for a geek like me.

Re: Quick Question for Megane CC owners
Yep, 17 inch Nervasport design. Those were a £250 factory upgrade on the Dynamique and Privilege models, over the standard 16 inch Nervastella design. Whether your car had them from the factory or acquired them later, who knows, but at least you've got them. Nice.
