Definitely looks and drives better than standard. Highly recommend the kit so far and no issues, even though I found the JOM coilovers online for about the same about of money.

Oh no, was it a defective strut or just a really bad pothole at speed?

Looks ace man :) Really tempted to colour code (DIY job for the weekend) my car as it makes a big difference I think and get some nicer alloys. The alloys on yours looks the business. What was the offset and did you have to use spacers on it?

Fairly bad pothole at high speed. Did make me dubious about the quality of the strut, but as I said, everything was great until it bent. Supersport replaced the bent strut no problems. Just avoid potholes! lol

That's really sound of them to replace it though as other manufacturers might make life difficult to get a replacement.
Knock on wood, mine is still working good so far. Very happy with it even though wondering how much of a difference having coilovers instead would have made :D

Still tempted to colour code my car as it's black and seeing others that are colour coded are well nice. Plus, the side strips I reckon would be quite easy to do at home.
Might have to get working on it once I get the bits and pieces ready :)

thing i did notice with my 2008 (57) 1.6 vvt dynamique S megane is that its has no marking of engine size etc on the front doors ( you know the shiney ehiney metal bits on the side strips) is that normal?

Not sure tbh as mine has the little shiny bit saying 1.4. Maybe check on another 1.6 car. If you, I reckon you could get a side strip for cheap at the breakers/ebay :-)

The whole ICE upgrade took me about 4 days as I had never installed an amplifier and subwoofer in a car before and I was working only an hour at a time at the most on it.
Easiest bit of the job was fitting the speakers and tweeters. That only took about 30 min and it makes a big difference.

Price wise, I bought the amplifier and subwoofer second hand for 60 euro. Add to that a wiring kit for 20 euro and the speaker/tweeter combo was 90 euro roughly. The headunit was bought second hand from ebay for 60 euro if I recall correctly as that was a long while ago. Grand total of 230 euro or roughly £185. Reckon that was quite cheap in the end as there was no cost in labour and subwoofer, amplifier and headunit were second hand.

Well worth doing yourself and I reckon it would probably take a day only with just a few basic tools. The difference in sound is amazing especially with some good tunes :)

From my limited knowledge on the matter, I think the only way to achieve that would be to get a set of adjustable coilovers. I had a link earlier on this post about the JOM ones off ebay. Personally I have no experience with them but they are the cheapest ones I could find :)
