Hi guys & girls
Not sure if anyone has beaten me before - so I will apologise in advance, I am no spring chicken by any stretch of the imagination but today I changed my passenger side dip beam bulb in 15 minutes!!! I had done the driver's side last year but due to the smaller appeture on the nearside I had put it off for some time. No need - a piece of cake, apart from some bruising on my right arm where I had to bend my forearm at 90 degrees to get through the bloody hole! Hope it's a record - but I guess it's not, just feel pretty good about saving myself some cash today!
Rob

Yey, well done you
Have you any of that cake going spare, I've just had a lovely sandwich for my lunch and would enjoy finishing it off with a nice cup o' tea and a slice o' cake

Sorry mate, no record at all....the chief mechanic at my stealer changed BOTH bulbs in under 10 minutes....mind you, he is about waist high and has got quite thin arms....

Yeah but that's a trained mechanic, surely robznet holds the record for a rank amateur.

No Stranger, not by today's standards anyway. Used to be around the motor trade in my twenties and early thirties, but we never had to change headlamp bulbs through a bloody silly little hole in the wheelarch!
