Xenon lights

Postby smileybecks » Sun Sep 14, 2008 7:37 pm

My Megane is only 2 years old and needs 2 new headlights which unfortunately are xenon. Does anyone know if they should die this quickly, do I need to get them changed by an approved Renault dealer and if not where can I buy them for less than £75 each?

My first Xenon failed after 5 years. 2 years is very short, but it also depends on how you use them. Xenon doesn't like many "warm starts"

Both lights fail at the same time?

Are you sure that it is the bulbs that are defective? and not the ballasts? or the supply to them?
