After 10 years ive said goodbyew to my 08 Megane dci 1.5, finally got a freind with his own garage to fix the abs fault after changing both front wheel bearings, both lower arms and both front sensor cables. Luckily he new someone looking for a cheap car and a deal was done. As id already replaced the rear brakes including over axle brake pipes and shock absorbers in the last 12 months the new owner has had most of the work for an mot done for him if the electronics behave. I miss seeing that car in the drive, recently more parked there than being used ! The final straw was the annual insurance renewal of £330, this for a car I rarely drive only 2000 miles in last 9 months. One way or another it had to go and I had mixed emotions as I counted the money. So its goodbye from me and thanks to all the freinds i've never met, youve all been great.
