received an email today saying i can activate my membership for free accident support, this is what it says it includes

Provide a FREE accident support service
Collect your car from the scene if unroadworthy
Provide a like for like replacement vehicle*
Pay your excess so you won’t be out of pocket**
Protect your No Claims Bonus
Only use Approved Accident Repair Centres
Give you a 5 year repair guarantee
Only use Genuine Renault Parts

** Where the accident is not your fault, then you will not have to pay your insurance excess.
* Vehicle will be similar size and group.

anyone else had this? wondering if its from joining this site or because renault fixed my megane last week
seems a bit too good to be true

Nothing to do with this site, it could be from your last Renault experience but still, if something seems too good to be true it often is, check it carefully.

I had it too, its if you buy your car from an authorised renault dealer

It is legit and free to you, but Renault are no charity. Either your insurance pays or the other party involved in the accident pays (via their insurance).

Collect your car from the scene if unroadworthy

Recovery charge - kerching!

Provide a like for like replacement vehicle*

Car hire - kerching!

Only use Approved Accident Repair Centres

Their own, labour at £90/hour (?) - kerching!

Only use Genuine Renault Parts

Big mark-up - kerching!

yep thats all obvious that they charge for the service but they wont do anything for you unless its the other persons fault so they can charge it all to the third party's insurance
