How often should we change the coolant?

every service, every other?

Surely this is in the owner's book and service schedule?

Cheers, I was planning on servicing my car, "me self" so just wanted to know. Surely it cant make any harm to change it anyway/

Does it have any positives?

Flushes any crap or corrosion out of the system.

As above - the coolant doesn't just contain anti-freeze - it has anti-corrosion properties that are essential for the health of the engine.

Remove front bumper, then bottom radiator hose, drain thoroughly and flush. Refill with the correct fluid and dilution. You should not spare expenses on this job.
