Yesterday, after the battery was renewed on my step-daughter's Megane 1.5 dCi (2004 model) the radio won't work without entering the code. The old battery was the original - nearly 8 years service isn't bad...
Any ideas where I can get the radio code or get around the problem?
The car, originally mine, was an "import" bought new from Carshock in 2004, they have since gone out of business so no help available from them.

Re: Radio Code after Battery Change
you need to pull the radio out for the serial number on the side of the unit if you have not got the service and radio books as it should be on the cover of the radio book on a sticker..if not..all is not lost..
pull the radio out with radio keys and get the serial number..
then check the ICE section of the forum and look at the sticky threads for radio code calculator.. download the program and your code is generated!
