There was a program on a money series, Who wants to be a millionaire. It is interesting that pyramid schemes still seem to work. One lady spend £50k going to seminars and almost became bankrupt, in the meanwhile the people hosting the seminars are filthy rich.

The word sheep comes to mind.

It would have been interesting if the narrator had said how many had attended each event that was featured and how much each person had paid.
