Stripping out interior

Basically the cars been abandoned on drive for last 3 months. Noticed condensation in it so had a look and found the dreaded water in driver side footwell/cubby hole. On closer inspection the carpet is wet from pedals to rear on driver side :banghead

Checked rear and found water in spare tyre well and under rear lights too. So biting bullet and stripping the whole interior out to dry car out and trace/fix leaks. Thankfully the car is our run around so no rush to get it back together.

Having discussions with the other half if I can leave it stripped out, needless to say she's not impressed :D

Send her to a health spa weekend to be "nice"
Put a roll cage in while shes away
Buy some ear defenders oh and a gum shield
She'll get over it or divorce ya

 Will give it all a try, thanks for the advice. Don't hold out much hope as it's her car, tho she has taken over mine so in all but paperwork this is mine :devil
