We are suing a subcontractor because we discovered they were charging us VAT whilst not VAT registered. :banghead :sad [:x][:x].
Cant say too much about it but it seems their managing director is wanted for £66000.00. :mad :nut :banghead  .

I reported them to HMRC but they didnt seem to be bothered. :conf :banghead

What is the point of doing the right thing when companies like this can get away with murder.

Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing these days.

The number of coding notices that I received last year was unbelievable and it was always the computers fault even after I'd pointed out GIGO. I spoke to them on one ocassion and said 'no I shouldn't be on emergency tax code' and they just changed it over the phone, I got a confirmation letter a few days afterwards and then, a few days later I got another confirmation letter with a different code on which meant I needed to ring them again :banghead

I know that they are busy, I know that they will be short staffed and under resourced but so is every other bugger in this country and a lot still provide blooming good services
