I know it's all down to personal preference re: the phone and I know with service provider a lot is about where you live but I'm more interested in customer service, hidden charges, clear billing etc and just thought I'd ask for any input on the following 2 questions.
Phone: HTC Desire S, HTC Sensation or Samsung Galaxy SII?
Network: t-mobile are doing some great deals for what I want, Talk Mobile, who use the Vodaphone network are pretty competetive and actually better on one phone and I can get a great cash back deal through Quidco on Vodaphone, has anyone any observations that they'd be kind enough to share about any or all of those?

Cheers Steve however the phone will be an android and will be one of the ones I've listed, I have a works BlackBerry and don't want the same for private use
3 do truly unlimited mobile internet but they're the ones that I've heard by far the most horror stories about, how are you finding them?

Re: Help me choose a new phone + network
Cheers, good to hear and yes no matter what I get and which network I go with there's going to people that say 'good choice' and others that say ' why did you ......'
I've always been with orange but have a very poor signal where we live and I'm on a D600 (well overdue for a new phone), my favourite at the moment is the SGSII on T-mobile on an 18 month contract at £30.64 a month which means I'll have only paid £80 more by the end of the term than it would cost me to buy the phone on PAYG and I'll have 600 mins, 500 texts and unlimited data each month so it makes a lot of sense really.
I have a friend with a HTC Desire on t-mobile and he swears by it anyhow he's going to call around soon and then I can see what the signal strength is like as obviously I can use my home wifi so that's not an issue.
I looked at sites to sell my D600 and the best I can get is £3
I'll now go and check out 3 coverage after what you've said, cheers

Bidey look at the title of this section please. If you've nothing constructive to add to a thread then I'd suggest that you don't post anything in it.
Steve and anyone else that's interested; I received the phone today and am very impressed with it just as I am with buymobilephones.net where I got it and t-mobile who I spoke to in order to get confirmation that buymobiles had given them my PAC code for my old number to be ported across. Whilst speaking to a the very helpful lady at t-mobile she gave me quite a few good tips, answered a few questions I had plus turned off my answerphone as I believe that if someone wants to get hold of me they'll keep ringing until they do and, as me accessing my answerphone comes out of my minutes allowance I'm happy not to have it there.
In conclusion I'd recommend the Sansung Galaxy SII, buymobilephones.net and t-mobile to anyone my in house coverage isn't great but it is there and I sat browsing .

Re: Help me choose a new phone + network
Off point but whatever you do dont go with 3! They are the worst company I've ever been with and would have to be paid to go back to them. Customer service is awful + you are garenteed to NEVER speak to an English person when you call up. This really winds me up! I'd personally Pay a bit more each month if it meant when I called up customer services I was able to speak to someone who spoke English.... Rant over but anyway, Im with Vodafone now and they have always been spot on with me.

Re: Help me choose a new phone + network
A couple of lads that work in CPW were trying to get me to go with 3 but I had read nothing but bad reports about them so I declined
