Advice on car sale

Postby wanda » Tue Feb 01, 2011 10:58 pm

I am selling an Audi A4 3.0 sports quattro. I got interest by one chap with bad spelling. He is insisting on paying using Paypal and said he will send an agent to pick up the car as soon as the money clears.

Am I right in smelling a fish here? :hep: Is it normal to refuse to pay cash on delivery?

What do you think?

Yup. Avoid unless he pays cash, and even then I would nsist on it being cleared by the bank. There are lots of dodgy notes in the wrong hands.
