The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hi can anyone help, when my fuel light comes on the range displays around 70 miles left and then goes blank after a few miles . What i would like to know is,
is the computer pretty accurate or not ?. And how much is left in the tank ? many thanks ...jim....... the car is a megane 120 dci ( 52 reg)

I find when the petrol light comes on i have 8 - 10L left.

mine comes on at about 50 miles, then the display goes off around 45. Wouldn't worry too much about it, I usually refill at quarter of a tank as I'm trying not to get it like this incase it's swilling the contaminants out of the tank through the engine.

Thanks for the quick reply , its just frustating that i can not see my range display after a while my mate's bmw goes right down to zero
