But its 100% carnauba wax, sourced in Brazil.

Save some polish for when I bring my car around.

So it began at around 9 this morning.

I started by power hosing with luke warm water. Then a coat of TFR and left for ten mins. Powered that off and covered the car in Snow Foam. Let that sit and powered again.
Then washed here down with a wool mit and diluted snow foam.













The paint isn't to bad for 5yo.

I then continued to Clay the whole car using a liquid detailer and clay bar. (Not as much tar as I thought)



I then moved onto the correction stage.

The first step was to use '3M Fast Cut' and a Meguiars DA polisher.

After doing the whole car 2 twice. About 5 or so mins a pannel. It started to show some luster and the swirls on their way out.





I then moved onto stage 2 '3M Hologram Remover' and again did the whole car twice, this removes any marking from the 3MFast Cut' ( By this stage is was getting dark so more pictures will follow tomorrow with the rest of the stages.)

I've always heard that pressure washing your car first of all is a no no bacause all you're doing is blasting any grit into the paintwork at 1000mph! I thought the best way to start is to gently spray water over it with a hose, or ideally a watering can, and then proceed to snowfoam/wash it with your mit.

Am I wrong?

Its a variable pressure power hose.

Although your on the right lines.

Ever been on detailing world? Theres so many debates that if you listen to them all you'd never wash your car. Some people swear my waterless car washes, other snow foam and power washers but most people the two bucket method. Then theres a shed load of debate on what products to use after that, theres zillions out there. The biggest difference, regardless of swirls, to your shine will be from claying the vehicle. Not enough people know about it and its really easy to do and far from expensive. You'll be amazed about how much crap it removes.

Autoglym do a nice gift kit thats about £60 which has everything you need to get going including leather cleaner, shampoo, resins, wheel cleaner, bumper care. You just need to add a good wax after the resin and a clay at the beginning.

I wouldn't recommend the rotary that Ulrich has unless you know what your doing. Get yourself one of the multi action things from halfords or argos etc which are only about £30 - £40 but are easy to use and less likely to damage your paint as you learn how to use it.

A Meguiars Dual Action is prehaps the best a money can buy. The is 0% chance of paint burn no matter how long you hold it / pressure applied.

I would use nothing else.
