Cleaning your Meggy

So, what products does everyone use and also what methods?

I'm basically looking for advice as I'm wanting to give the Meggy and really good going over and restoring the paint to it's original glory. It's been ruined by those circular scratches you get from getting bits of dirt stuck in sponges etc and ideally I'd like to get rid of them.

Is anyone here used to doing their own mini-detail on their cars? I'd speak to a proffessional detailer but I can't really afford to pay someone to do it for me (stupidly expensive honeymoon to pay for!!).

I'm currently using the "two bucket method" along with some Simonz car shampoo+wax that I got from Tesco  a hose and a microfibre towel for drying the car.

you'd be surprised what it'll cost to have it professionally done.
by the time you've bought what you need, it'll cost very similar.

Yeah, I've found a couple of places in Lincolnshire that do it for £80-150. That's for a full paint restoration. :idea

Still, what shampoo etc do people use for general washing of the car? Would like some ides so I can maintain the car one i have it detailed. :D

I find most of the auto glym range is good.
Otherwise I use Meguiars Gold class shampoo.
