The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hi All.
Im trying to get some reasonably priced roof bars and roof box for my 55 plate 5dr Megane.
We have the large tilt/slide sunroof.
All the bars i have seen advertised so far ( Ebay etc...) state "without glass sunroof"

WHY ?.....

Does it just mean the roof cant be opened OR does it mean i need bars just for glass sunroof models only ?.

Any info would be VERY handy..

I think it’s due to the clearance between the opening glass and the bars.

I would suggest you ask the seller for the vertical beam length, and then measure the height of the glass when open.

Alternatively buy the bars and don’t take the chance of opening the roof.
