Also, my chrome handles are peeling (not the actual useful part - but the bit to the side) - does anyone know if these can be replaced and if so, could you provide a company name or link please ?

(sorry about hijacking your forum, but your post reminded me)

(considering a remap - but is it worth a new clutch and turbo?!)

Heres an english ebay shop:

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RENAULT-MEGANE-20 ... 3332wt_911

They sell non-renault - replacement chrome door handles for the megane (with caps) all in for approx £30. I might get these and just use the caps, but I'm going to call the dealers first see if I can get them for about £10 each or so.

I have seen a set of these in the flesh. Its a totaly different shade of chrome than the originals. A real bright chrome rather than a matted finished.

But certainly an idea.
