New Renault Latitude - Unmistakeably Japanese...

Postby MéganeDynamique » Thu Jun 10, 2010 1:34 pm

I thought this was a Honda, or a Toyota? It even has a hint of Lexus LS about it... but it certainly doesn't look french!

I seriously hope this isn't the route Renault is taking. Bring back the Vel Satis and Avantime days!

That looks very nice!

Very SAAB-esque from the from/side

I like it!

google Samsung SM5,

You'll find it looks very similar! After all, Samsung motors are part of Renault

Just like the Koleos, it's designed by Renault, manufactured by Renault Samsung, but developed by Nissan!

Boring, bland, playing safe comes to mind. Certainly does not look French but Renault has tried bold and unique before and had quite poor sales in me-too Europe market.

Its a Samsung design like the 4x4 was, it just indicates Renault doesn't expect to sell many so has just plugged a gap.
