If you think Renault's are expensive to repair, read on.
I have a very good friend who has been having trouble with her RX8 recently. Got a text from her today to say that it is at Mazda in Bolton and it requires the following items.
Starter motor, leads, coils, sump plate, suspension link, wiper blades, a bulb and a full service.
Total cost £3000
It's 5 years old and has done 50K

Re: Mazda RX8 repairs!
Thats ridiculous money
Id be looking to part-ex it in if i was faced with that sort of repair bill.

Re: Mazda RX8 repairs!
id be very unhappy if such a new car needed a starter, coil and leads. My missus has a 06 231 rx8 and i love driving it.
My boss also has one, he had a incident in the snow last month, for a new headlight they wanted 500quid, the light PLASTIC square headlight washer was 80quid and the washer itself was about 300
get about 20mpg aswel. But you dont buy that kind of car and expect it to be cheap.
