The only easy way I found was to remove the front bumper - the horn is then right in front of you. There are 3 or 4 10mm bolts underneath, two T20 torx screws in the wheel arches and a lot of plastic clips under the bonnet (and two in the front wheel arch liner). If you don't break the clips removing them, its an easy job. The clips are £6 for 10 from the dealership. I took mine off last weekend to clean out the intercooler, and I did break quite a few clips (bad design/impatience).

Best advice for Megane owners: sell it before it bankrupts you!

Would it be possible to fit a more powerhul horn from laguna or any other cars? Mine also sounds like mouse farting.

Dead easy
Remove the top left grill
Reach in and release the cable clip to the horn
Using a 15mm i think spanner undo the nut at rear of horn
Pre wire new horn
Install then splice and seal cable to originals
I have twin PIAA sport horns fitted now
Much better

Takes a bit of guts but
stand infront of grill grab hold and gently lift at wide end
then pull out from bumper trim very easily you will see clip
once that end is out slide down a little bit towards the headlight and remove fully
