Metallic or not?

Can someone help please? I know it sounds a bit thick but just bought a black pearl coloured megane 2004 1.6 16v vvt privelege.
I am having arguments with my mates. Is it a metallic colour or not?

You would be better to post the colour code of you paint.
This is located on the drivers door pillar on a barcoded sticker.
Then you can be sure.

Black pearl = NV676 (NV: Nacré Vernis = Pearl Varnish), so it's not metallic, but even better: pearl-effect paint.

Oooo thats the paint code of my car. I always wondered. So its pearl effect black paint... not so easy to touch up then.
